Example of someone that has sinspired you: Mrs. Hale nominated me to go to a NYLSC conference in Tulsa. I went to the conference and learned valuable tools on how to be successful in my educational career.
Impact of GEFFE: Many of the classes I have been in have received grants for new calculators or lab equipment, which enhanced the learning process.
Other comments: Grove Public schools have given me opportunities to improve my education and get the most out of my time spent at school. The community of Grove really does strive to give its students the best education possible.

What teacher(s) had the biggest impact on your education: Mrs. Cash had the biggest impact on my education because of her sense of humor. She had many fun activities that made me excited about school.
Teacher that really encouraged you: Mrs. Smith believed in and encouraged me by helping me become competent enough in math to get accepted into OSSM this past year.
Someone that really inspired you to be the excellent student you are today: Mrs. Fracek inspired me by helping me to revise my essays. Her critical perspective helped me realize what takes to succeed in the real world.
Impact of GEFFE: GEFFE has affected my education immensely. In second grade, my class received a grant to purchase an online story writing program that changed the way I viewed English.
Other comments: Without the support of GEFFE and the Grove community, our school would not have the education system it has today.

Teacher who has impacted you the most: Mrs. Fracek has had a huge impact on my education. If it wasn’t for her always pushing us to work our hardest and earn our grades, I wouldn’t have the English skills I have today.
Teacher who has encouraged you: Mrs. Smith really believed in me and encouraged me. When I am feeling frustrated with math, she is very helpful. She always tries her hardest to make sure I understand what I am doing.
Example of someone who has inspired you: My parents have both inspired me to do my best. I have been taught that anything below an A is unacceptable. Because of that, I have always maintained a weighted GPA of 4.0 or higher.
Impact of GEFFE: My math class received a GEFFE grant for calculators. Thanks to these calculators we can go much more into depth when it comes to Calculus and Math Analysis.
Other comments: I am so thankful that we have an excellent program like this to help our school system out financially. It is a wonderful organization.

Teacher who has encouraged you: Mrs. Fracek could not have been more inspiring. She is a true teacher.
Example of something that has inspired you: Speaking of inspiring, I learned at an early age from my dad (who is a teacher) that the only person who can limit you is yourself. I try not to limit myself.
Impact of GEFFE: GEFFE has been a major (and one of the few) contributors to our band. This may not be what was meant by “education” (though it most definitely is education), but I’d like to take this opportunity to speak for all of us in the GHS band and say thank you. It has been much needed and much appreciated.

What teacher has had the biggest impact: My third grade teacher, Mr. Flamisch. He was the first person to tell me that I am a good writer.
A teacher that really encouraged you: I think all of my teachers have believed in me and my ability to succeed as an adult.
Example of someone that really inspired you to be the excellent student you are today: Mr. Sadler is so passionate about history that it’s kind of contagious. I didn’t want to let him down, so I tried harder than ever and I learned so much.
How has GEFFE impacted your education? A few of my classes received GEFFE grants. Most of the grants provided the classrooms with Smartboards. These boards allowed us to be more hands on in our learning. Often it made it easier to really comprehend. I am a visual person, so having that was a huge advantage.
Other comments: I have never felt anything but safe in our schools and our community. I’m truly blessed to have moved to Grove.

Teacher who encouraged you: Mr. Mcgough he always seemed to be interested in what I did, whether it was sports or my agricultural endevors. Never once did he mock me, or make me feel belittled.
Example of something that has inspired you: My mom who is a teacher would be the person that comes to mind. She has always encouraged my sister and I to keep our grades up and take the harded classes which will help prepare us for college. My parents have also encouraged us to take advantage of all possibilities and to get involved in activities which would help open our minds to the world.
Impact of GEFFE: When I was in 3rd grade my mom was the art teacher. She received a GEFFE grant for $800.00 and was able to buy many art posters and books that we got to use in class.
Other comments: GEFFE is a well respected organization who helps bring in many new creative ideas and projects in to our school.

Teacher who encouraged you: Mrs. Smith has always believed that I could understand and master all of the difficult mathematical concepts that she threw at me, even when I didn’t believe it myself.
Example of someone that has inspired you: Mr. Sadler really inspired me to be an excellent student because of his dedication to his job and unprecedented work ethic.
Impact of GEFFE: GEFFE has made my life so much easier with their donation of the laptop cart. The laptop became almost a necessity when it came time to put our project together in ISR.

Teacher who has impacted you the most: The teacher that has had the strongest impact on me is Jeanne Smith, because she has taught me for three years and knows what I am capable of. She knows where she can push me and just how to do it.
Teacher who has encouraged you: I would have to say the teacher that believed in me and pushed me the most would be Keli Steen. While taking her science fair class I was pushed to do more than I thought was capable.
Example of someone who has inspired you: There are many people that inspire me to be who I am today. Many people throughout the GEFFE inspire me. I want to be a successful and contributary member of society just like so many people I am involved with.
Impact of GEFFE: One thing that has directly affected me is the purchase of many microscopes. In middle school I did a science fair project in which I had to use one, and it made a tremendous difference! I am so thankful I had those for my use.
Other comments: I think GEFFE is an incredible organization composed of many incredible people. It takes special people to work this hard to accomplish the numerous goals they have set. They do an excellent job of raising money for the school. This helps kids receive a better education, which helps to ensure everyone’s future!

Teacher who has encouraged you: Mrs. Steen is a teacher that has driven me to succeed. She is very supportive and thorough in teaching. Being in her class has helped develop lifelong tools.
Example of someone that has inspired you: My Mom has always stressed the value of education and the importance of doing your best. She has given me constant encouragement, no matter what my venture.
Impact of GEFFE: GEFFE has supplied many classes with tools, books and technology. GEFFE helped my Anatomy class by supplying dissecting tools; those labs really helped me understand basic anatomy.
Other comments: GEFFE has helped supply tools to advance my education. By receiving those donations, it has helped me to recognize that there are many people in my community that care about my education and want to see us excel.

Impact of GEFFE: GEFFE has given several grants to most of the classes I haven taken in high school. I know that without these grants we would not be as up to date on the technology in the classrooms and without GEFFE most of our art projects would have never been able to come alive.

Teacher who has encouraged you: Mrs. Fasano always gave me encouraging notes on my papers and would always be willing to stay after class to help me with whatever I needed.
Example of someone who has inspired you: Mrs. Johnston, my chemistry teacher, inspired me everyday just by her imense knowledge of chemistry. She literally knew everything about it.
Impact of GEFFE: Almost every class I’ve been in at the high school has had a smart board in it and it really makes it easier for the teacher to connect with the students and more efficiently educate them.

Teacher(s) who had the biggest impact: It’s really hard to just choose one teacher, because throughout school I have had so many teachers help me. But a few that stick out are: Mr. Pierce, Mrs. Bloss, Mrs. Pierce, Mrs. Lovelady, and Mrs. Cohen
Teacher who really believed in you and encouraged you: Mr. Pierce has helped me so much this past year with schooling, and even helped me with my relationship with God.
A person who has inspired you to be the excellent student you are today? My mom has been there through everything, she has taught me right from wrong, and to strive to be the best I can be. I am so thankful for that.
How has GEFFE impacted your education? After being in a computer class every four years, I have realized how much GEFFE has helped in my computer education. They have purchased scanners, software, etc.
