Teacher(s) who have impacted your education the most: Mrs. Fracek, she has made me a better student, like she always says “be a scholar” she has taught me to be a scholar.
A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you: Mrs. Sadler has always believed in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself and has always helped me. She wants me to succeed in her class but always allows me to do what is most important first.
An example that inspired you to be the student you are today: Mrs. Yirsa, when she told me I could not have a 4.0, Mrs. Fracek is just an awesome person and a great teacher. The way she teaches is just inspiring
How has GEFFE impacted your education: If you have you been in a class that received a grant from GEFFE, please tell us how that grant affected your education. I know that since we where little GEFFE has been in our education, we get grants that help our education. for ex. Smart Boards
Other comments: I have been in four other school systems (California, Tennessee and two in Oklahoma). The Grove School System is by far the best one out of all four.

A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you: Even though Mr. Pierce no longer teaches at GHS, he has always encouraged me to do my best.
An example that inspired you to be the student you are today: Just having a daily conversation with Mr. Kruetz encourages you to be a better student.
How has GEFFE impacted your education: GEFFE has provided classes with printers and computer programs that help create things such as the yearbook.

Teacher(s) who have impacted your education the most: The teacher that has had the biggest impact on my education would be Mrs. Smith. She is a very hands-on teacher and I have been able to excel in math with her help.
A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you: Mr. Sadler helped me realize the potential I could achieve and helped me set and achieve my goals.
An example that inspired you to be the student you are today: My old soccer coach, Ms. Margie Hayes. One day she told me, one-on-one, that I could succeed in everything I set my mind to if I would look at the bright side of situations.
How has GEFFE impacted your education: In my Spanish class, Ms. Sadler uses her smart board for interactions with the Spanish language. I do believe that with the interactions I have a greater knowledge of the Spanish language.

Teacher(s) who have impacted your education the most: The teacher who has had the largest impact on my education would easily be my ‘Ist grade teacher Mrs. Lovelady, she taught me how to read.
A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you: In my sophomore year Mrs. Linda Fracek took me under her wing and helped build my English writing skills; I now enjoy writing more than I ever thought I could.
An example that inspired you to be the student you are today: Mrs. Fracek helped me get started working blood drives, it showed me I could do more than just academics to be a shining student, I have now worked 8 drives.
How has GEFFE impacted your education: GEFFE provided the smart boards for all the classrooms I have had throughout high school, this made learning much faster and more efficient.

Teacher(s) who have impacted your education the most: The two GPS teachers who have had the greatest impacton my education are Mrs. Sylvie Kane and Mrs. Angie Duff. They have both gone above and beyond the level expected of them and have done all they could to make sure I succeeded.
A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you: Mrs. Duff has always been there to support me andguide me, whether in a project I was working on or deciding where I go tocollege. She has also inspired me to continually strive to become a better person.
An example that inspired you to be the student youare today: Mrs. Kane never stopped helping me achieve the highest score I could on the ACT, which drastically improved after taking her class. More importantly, she provided a fantastic volunteer opportunity for me that was one of the most enjoyable things I have ever been involved in.
How has GEFFE impacted your education: The iPads GEFFE donated to the English department are utilized quite frequently by myself and almost every other student in myclass.
Othercomments: I believe that GEFFE’s efforts to aid the school system have definitely been successful, and will continue to better the classrooms of future Grove students.

A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you: Mr. Hurt always believed in me; he said if I knew what I wanted to do then how to do it would be a simple obstacle.
An example that inspired you to be the student you are today: Growing up I saw how easy it was to give up and not do anything spectacular with life, but I always knew that’s not how I wanted to live so I focused my life on getting a higher education.
How GEFFE has impacted your education: My computer class received Virtual Business programs and I was able to see how to run a business successfully.
Other comments: I moved to Grove my Junior year and the school and all of the students made me feel like I had been here forever and I have made better friends in two years than in my whole life at my previous school

Teacher(s) who have impacted your education the most: Mrs. Cohea has had a huge impact on my education because she is the type of person who doesn’t show favoritism. She taught me that with hard work, anything can be solved and achieved.
A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you: Mrs. Fracek is a teacher who always believed in me. She believed in my writing and encouraged me to always out do myself in all my work.
An example that inspired you to be the student you are today: My sister went through high school and college as a student athlete, and managed excellent grades. Watching her achieve her goals through school always inspired me to do my best.
How has GEFFE impacted your education: The smart boards have been an excellent learning tool for me and many other students. It allowed me to have visuals that a white board couldn’t.
Other comments: Grove Public Schools has been an excellent environment for me and I am proud to be a Ridgerunner!

How has GEFFE impacted your education: In my AP classes GEFFE has bought a lot of supplies that have helped me and other students learn well like smartboards, which are great to take notes on.

A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you: Mrs. Steen beginning my freshman year was my biggest cheerleader and critic. After four years she remains my source of support and guidance regarding science research.
An example that inspired you to be the student you are today: It was never an option in my family to be a bad student. My mom would go to the ends of the earth to not only set the bar high, but help me find the pathway to success.
How has GEFFE impacted your education: GEFFE has had a great impact on my education. Many of the classes I have taken were possible due to funding from GEFFE: AP Biology and AP Chemistry. Being able to perform labs within both these classes utilizing necessary supplies and expensive equipment has been beneficial and will no doubt help me in college.
Other comments: I would like to personally thank the donors in the Grove community who value education and so generously give their hard earned money to help promoted academic excellence within Grove Public Schools.

A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you: Mrs. Davis has really encouraged me. She has helped me every step of the way my senior year. She has not only been a wonderful teacher, but she has inspired to me to do greater things.
An example that inspired you to be the student you are today: My mom has always held higher standards for me in my schooling. She has pushed me and made me challenge myself. She has always inspired me to keep going even when I want to quit.
How has GEFFE impacted your education: The smart boards that GEFFE has provided has created a more hands on and visual learning experience for me as a student. The also helped the Ridgerunner Band buy a new TV to review our marching show to better improve upon it.
Other comments: I am really thankful that GEFFE has been providing educational tools every single year since I have been in school. It really has helped every step of the way.

Teacher(s) who have impacted your education the most: Mrs. Chaney because I feel she has prepared me the most for college, not only educationally, but with other circumstances. I have had her every year except sophomore year and I have learned a lot from her classes.
A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you: Mrs. Chaney, she always gave her classes some type of useful life lesson everyday and has noticed me mature and grow up into the top scholar I am.
An example that inspired you to be the student you are today: My parents inspired me from a young age and pushed me to be a good student and work hard. Now it’s just habit, so I am thankful for them.
How has GEFFE impacted your education: It betters education. It helped my education by my classes having smart boards or big subject books that aren’t falling apart.
Other comments: I am thankful to have got to experience the amazing and beneficial results from GEFFE.

Teacher(s) who have impacted your education the most: Mr. Davis helped me realize my love of music through his teachings and is the reason why I’ve chosen to further my vocal training.
A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you: Mrs. Manning was a very loving teacher and never yelled at anyone ever. She was the one who made me love school more than anything!
An example that inspired you to be the student you are today: Mr. Davis pulled me over after class one day to tell me that I would accomplish a lot through my singing.
How has GEFFE impacted your education: My computer class got the Virtual Business programs during my Sophomore year and I got to experience the way retail works as well as personal finance. Hopefully those personal finance lessons will pay off in the end!
Other comments: I will miss this school very dearly and I know it’s in good hands with the help of GEFFE!

A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you: Ms. Sadler was a teacher that got to know me on a personal level and has always been there for support and encouragement through my four years at Grove High School.
An example that inspired you to be the student you are today: When I told Mrs. Fracek about an ACT score that I was proud of, she said “See, I knew you could do that”. It really encouraged me.
How has GEFFE impacted your education: My AP Chemistry class got new calculators, which were extremely helpful because we wouldn’t have been able to do the math equations we were studying without them.
Other comments: I’m glad that I had the privilege of growing up in Grove Public Schools with GEFFE helping to make it a better place. GEFFEE has provided me with more opportunities to be successful in the classroom.

A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you: Mr. Radebaugh is my AP Calculus BC instructor at OSSM. He applauds his students’ successes in all aspects of life.
An example that inspired you to be the student you are today: I had a teacher that expected the best from everyone in her class, and I hated to disappoint her.
How has GEFFE impacted your education: GEFFE provided a grant for the purchase of much of the lab equipment we used in my AP Biology class. These labs truly helped my scores on the AP test.

Teacher(s) who have impacted your education the most: Coach Crowder, he was my favorite math teacher and he still helps me if I need it. At one point I almost gave up in calculus, but he encouraged me and pushed me to not only pass the next big test but ace it!
A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you: Mrs. Davis, she has always believed in my dreams. She has always encouraged all of her students to do great things.
An example that inspired you to be the student you are today: My dad, he didn’t graduate high school, but he is the smartest person I know. I want my parents to be proud of me. I don’t want to disappoint them.
Other comments: I am proud to be a Grove Ridgerunner. I love being a representative of our town and school. Growing up here, well I will cherish those years for the rest of my life.

A teacher that believed in you and encouraged you: Mrs. Smith encouraged me to take Calculus and was always pushing me to do my best in every assignment, while making it all make sense.
An example that inspired you to be the student you are today: Mr. Kreutz always tell students to, “get better.” I have figured out that if I don’t do it, no one will do it for me.
How has GEFFE impacted your education: GEFFE has provided my classrooms with the tools and programs to learn in a hands on style, that may not have otherwise been possible.
